Cardiologist Kevin Coy has joined the Health Services Authority as a visiting specialist.
Dr. Coy, will operate bi-weekly clinics at the Cayman Islands Hospital, said a HSA release. He is a specialist in cardiac catheterisation, pacemaker implantation and other heart and coronary artery diseases.
Dr. Coy worked for many years in the Cayman Islands and elsewhere in the Caribbean. The surgeon established cardiology programmes in Nassau, Bahamas where he performed the first cardiac catherisation, and developed successful cardiac angioplasty programmes at the University Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica, Barbados and Curacao.
