Tourists scared

Another auto-related fatality?

I am seriously starting to be concerned for the safety of my family if we decide to return to Grand Cayman this summer.

Not only is the cost of airfare making us think twice, but the dangers of the roads provides yet another reason to go elsewhere.

Although the high rate of traffic accidents and related deaths has been an ongoing issue in the news, there appears to be no improvement in the situation.

For such a small island, the statistics are truly scary.

I have often driven on the roads where these accidents have occurred. I have personally witnessed some of the extremely reckless driving on the Island.

Sadly, it makes a person think twice about returning.
