Hey NAAAAh Government should, and I repeat should, continue to support the criminals in whatever legal aid is needed.
Do not worry about the little millions of dollars because Government has the money.
As long as there is a need for the criminals in Her Majesty’s Prison to have a legal aid lawyer, then I suggest that Government support their needs.
On the other side of the coin Government is spending millions a year to keep them there in HMP, so why not add more to that so the ball keeps rolling?
Should Government cut some and give some then that will be prejudice and double standard.
And we really don’t want prisoners in HMP making any more demands like they did in the 1999 riot when they demanded pizza, Kentucky Fried and whatever else they wanted.
So a few millions in legal aid for whoever asks for it should be granted.
Don’t trouble the legal aid system to decrease anything; if they do then it should be increased by even billions, not millions, more.
