In reference to the CMA Annual Day of Prayer, please note that as a Member of the House Committee I have always supported the Annual Day of Prayer at the Legislative Assembly Building.
I will in no way or form support otherwise.
I do not believe that there is any question as to the Day of Prayer touching on any matter or issue that could be deemed as the Church interfering with the State and so there should be no question or issue as to separation concerning Church and State.
Therefore the Day of Prayer has my full support and from what I have gathered from other Members the Day of Prayer at the Legislative Assembly has their support also.
