I have no idea what is going on with many of the drivers on our island.
Do they think they have an anchor in the trunk?
Or perhaps that their car is surrounded by an invisible force-shield.
I am talking about the rampant tailgating.
I have the impression many drivers here learned how to drive on Nintendo. I am suffering the consequences of tailgating as I write so I’m not in a very good mood.
The car in front of me stopped.
What was I to do?
Each day many of us suffer being intimidated by a car following us two inches from our bumpers in the hopes we will break the speed limit to prevent being hit.
Does the person behind have any clue how long it will take them to stop?
There should be penalties for anyone found tailgating, because it is a dangerous habit here.
Slow down!!
Better yet, learn how to drive properly, or stay home and play race car driver on your Nintendo.
You certainly shouldn’t be on the road.
