Cayman’s brightest aspiring talent in the arts had their opportunity to shine at last Sunday’s Talent XPosition of the Arts.
The event, held at the Harquail Theatre, featured dozens of artists, musicians and actors, who took to the stage for the extravaganza.
The annual event is now in its seventh year, proving to be a mainstay on Cayman’s yearly entertainment calendar.
Performers included The Latin Dancers, Roy Bodden, Dvine Bush, Jessica Hurlstone, HypeSquad Dancers, Lloyd Barker and Jason Dacosta.
‘The show was fantastic,’ organiser and promoter J.C. Connor said.
‘It was a sell-out event and I was overwhelmed with the support. Without a doubt it was one of the best shows to date.’
The event also included an art exhibition, co-ordinated by Cayman Traditional Arts, featuring work by aspiring artists as well as prolific artist Al Ebanks.
Proceeds will benefit the Pines Retirement Home, as well as the New Self-Help Community Foundation’s Youth Empowerment Programme. Mr. Connor was unable to confirm the amount raised at press time.
