The annual Fidelity Fun Run series will begin this Saturday, 8 September. The three two mile activities will continue on 15 and 22 September. The loop course from opposite Jon Gray High School south on Walker’s Road to South Church Street and turning right, again turning right at Denham Thompson Way to finish near the east end of that thoroughfare, will be utilized.
Aggregate scores for the series will determine award winners. Top three male and female scorers overall, as well for age groups under 12, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+, as well as the top three scorers in an open division for prams, will be recognized.
Entry forms will be available at various locations within the community and will be distributed by email as well.
The activity is organized by the Phoenix Athletic Club and information is available at 945-3970.
Registration on each run morning begins at 6:30 a.m. across from John Gray High School, and the action begins at 7:30.Entry fee for the entire series is $15 or $5 for each outing. Event shirts will be distributed at the final segment of the series, and refreshments will be provided each Saturday.
