Police Ball celebrates 100 years

The Cayman Islands will celebrate 100 years of policing 24 November at The Ritz-Carlton., Grand Cayman.

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service invites the public to join it on this momentous milestone as they celebrate traditions at the 2007 Police Ball.

Distinguished guests at the black tie gala will treasure the pomp and circumstance of an evening filled with time-honoured ceremonies and customary regalia. Of course, guests will also experience gourmet cuisine, fine wines and champagne, live music and other entertainment.

This esteemed gathering is expected to again attract a prominent crowd, representing highly decorated officers, distinguished citizens, senior government officials and corporate partners.

The Police Ball, themed Over the Decades, is open to the public to purchase tickets or tables. Partnership affiliations to help commemorate the occasion and showcase civic-minded commitment are also available and very limited. Interested parties are asked to call 924-2201 or email [email protected] for more information on how to become involved.

The first company to step up to the plate to help recognise the importance of the 100-year RCIPS celebration was The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman offering their services and overall event support. With another expected sell-out event, filling all three ballrooms, the collaboration with such a highly esteemed venue is greatly appreciated.

‘We sincerely appreciate and value the dedication of the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service. It is only natural for everyone to join together for such a momentous event to celebrate this commitment,’ said Mr. Chris Sariego, resort manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. ‘We look forward to putting together a unique and memorable event that the RCIPS and the entire community will be very proud of.’
