Tortuga cakes on HSN

Tortuga Caribbean Rum Cakes will be featured on Home Shopping Network Friday.

Monique Hamaty-Simmonds, assistant managing director and daughter of the founder of the Tortuga Rum Company, will appear on three shows to highlight these gourmet tropical treats first introduced commercially in the Cayman Islands over 20 years ago.

Six delicious flavours at an exceptional value will be offered: original golden with walnuts, chocolate, coconut, banana, key lime and pineapple. Hamaty-Simmonds will share the Tortuga rum cake story and video of the cakes being baked, hand glazed and vacuum sealed.
