FirstCaribbean International Bank supports the National Council of Voluntary Organisations.
‘FirstCaribbean International Bank is very proud to continue our support of the NCVO as they continue their tireless work for the people of the Cayman Islands,’ said Paul Stoll, Manager Quality Control and Assurance of FirstCaribbean.
FirstCaribbean is one of the NCVO’s most constant and reliable supporters.
‘Being a non-profit organisation, the NCVO is very dependent on donations from the community in running projects. We are grateful for the contribution that FirstCaribbean has been constantly giving to us over the years,’ said NCVO Chief Executive Officer Janice Wilson.
The NCVO is an independent, non-profit, charitable organization that engages in projects to meet the ever-increasing social needs of the community. Having been in operation for 30 years, it is one of the oldest charities in Cayman.
‘FirstCaribbean’s donation will be added to other contributions that we hope to obtain during the telethon on 3 November at the Hard Rock Cafe,’ Ms Wilson continued. Broadcasting on Cayman 27 – Cable Channel 12 and Radio Cayman from 7:00 pm till midnight, the 28th annual telethon is the biggest, most important fundraiser for the NCVO.
‘All the proceeds will benefit our children’s programmes including the Jack and Jill Nursery and Early Learning Centre, Miss Nadine’s Pre-School and the Richard Arch Children’s Centre which is a foster home,’ Ms Wilson said.
