Mrs. Scott’s book launched next week

From 1987 to 1992, Joan Hall Scott spent five years living in the Cayman Islands as the wife of British Governor Alan Scott. During this time, Mrs. Scott honed her cooking and entertaining skills.

The result is her new book The Governor’s Lady, a personal memoir of fascinating anecdotes with menus and recipes that reflect her passion for cuisine, for travel and for Cayman.

The hard-cover book, printed in Turkey, is 200 pages, with 43 photos.

Mrs. Scott will launch The Governor’s Lady in the Cayman Islands and sign books from next Wednesday at the following locations:

Thursday, 22 November

4pm to 6pm – Grand Cayman Marriot Beach Resort lobby, in conjunction with Hobbies and Books

Friday, 23 November

11am to 2pm – Hobbies and Books in the Piccadilly Centre, George Town

Saturday, 24 November

11am to 2pm – The Book Nook in Galleria Plaza, Seven Mile Beach

4pm to 6pm – Signing at Hobbies and Books By The Bay, Grand Harbour
