KISS FM recently announced that on-air personality Rita Estevanovich has joined their ever-growing team.
Rita will be on air weekdays between 2pm and 7pm and on Sundays between 3pm and 9pm.
In 2002 Rita earned a Liberal Studies degree in International Relations, Business Administration and Spanish Literature from the University of Central Florida. She later returned home to Cayman where she worked as a television reporter for Radio Cayman.
In 2004 Rita attended the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, CA for one year.
“I’m thrilled to have a talent such as Rita regularly on the air,’ 106.1 KISS FM Programme Director Ben Maxwell said. ‘She’s one of the brightest stars in Cayman and it’s always exciting to introduce new expertise and a fresh personality to the station. She’s already proving to be popular during the Monday through Friday afternoon commute as well as Sunday afternoons where our listeners can enjoy her bubbly personality as they lounge at the pool, the beach, or on their boat!”
Rita also works for the Cayman National Cultural Foundation and out of hours she continues to actively participate in the local arts community.
‘Growing up in Cayman I always participated in a theatre group, dance troupe or choir so it’s no surprise that I gravitated towards the radio and entertainment industry,’ commented Rita. ‘This industry has always been my passion and I am thrilled to have joined the dms Broadcasting team-already I feel like part of the family.’
