Cayman HospiceCare, in association with Baptist Health International, will host a two-day symposium next week on palliative care.
The conference, which runs from June 5 to 6, marks the first time Cayman HospiceCare has hosted an international event of this nature.
The event will cover modules from the Education on Palliative and End-of-Life Care Curriculum, including pain management and communicating bad news.
The event is targeted towards doctors, nurses, social workers, clergy and other interested healthcare or related professionals, said a Cayman HospiceCare press release.
The modules will be presented by:

There is a nominal fee for the event of CI$50, which includes meals. For those unable to participate in the entire event, there are rates available for individual modules.
