The impending threat of Gustav means schools on Grand Cayman will be closed on Friday.
Government schools’ openings will not be affected by Gustav as students will be returning Wednesday 3 September.

Schools not opening until Tuesday are:
Cayman Prep Primary
Cayman International School
First Baptist School
Cayman Academy plans on opening on 3 September.
At press time, the University College of the Cayman Islands was still not able to determine when it plans to open.
