The Cayman Islands Tourism Association in conjunction with Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association is once again offering an upgraded Customer Service Training Workshop in our on-going efforts to provide training in the tourism industry. This course consists of new material from American Express on communication skills, fraud prevention and identification theft.
Three sessions will be held at the Westin Casuarina Resort & Spa on Thursday, 25 September (session A) from 8am to 12 pm & (session B) 1pm to 5pm. On Friday, 26 September (session C) will be from 8am to 12pm.
AMEX and CHTA partnered with Johnson & Wales University to present this award-winning program designed to enhance customer service throughout the Caribbean.
‘In an era where the global tourism marketplace is increasingly more competitive – with emerging markets and a savvier, more demanding traveler – more and more, it’s all about the experience,’ explained Johnson & Wales professor Maureen Lloyd- James.
Past participant Renda Cornwall from Aqua Bay Condominiums enjoyed her training experience.
‘It was fantastic. The information was invaluable and the lecturer did an excellent presentation,’ she said.
‘In my opinion, this is definitely a training session everyone in the service industry should participate in, no matter what level they’re at.’
