The 19 September editorial on the proposed dance troupe raised some interesting and valid points.
However, has everyone forgotten the excellent work done by the Cayman National Cultural Foundation?
I am certain Mr Muttoo and the rest of the qualified people at the CNCF (not to mention all of their contacts) could do a remarkable job for a fraction of the probable costs of the proposed troupe.
Barring political and/or personality considerations that I’m unaware of, is there any valid reason not to promote Caymanian culture using established institutions like the CNCF?
