Six Cuban migrants departed after a brief stop in Cayman Brac on Saturday, Immigration Department officials said.
When the six men arrived off that island’s north coast, they were advised of the Cayman Islands immigration policy. Prior to leaving, however, the Cubans were allowed to make minor repairs to their vessel.
On Sunday the same group made a stop off East End, Grand Cayman, to check weather conditions, before continuing once again.
Immigration Department officials monitored the group’s departure.
