The group included sixteen cadets from Grand Cayman and four from Cayman Brac. The group received their diplomas from Portfolio of the Civil Service Chief Officer, Mary Rodrigues.

An international qualification equivalent to four GCSEs, BTEC is administered through the UK Cadet Vocational Qualification Office.

Congratulating the cadets, Mrs. Rodrigues noted that, by mixing theory and practical elements, the course had offered them many positive benefits.

She urged the cadets to use their studies as a stepping stone in the long journey of life and as an investment in their continued development.

Acting Corps Commandant, Lt. Colonel Bobeth O’Garro, also congratulated the cadets on their hard work.
