I would also like to appeal to our George Town MLA’s to review the water situation on Selkirk Drive.
There are no drains at all on that road and currently, after recent construction and filling in of ponds, my yard is the collecting spot for all the neighbourhood excess water.
Two days before Paloma water in my back yard was one step from coming into the house.
Recently the NRA came in to repair several potholes in the area. They graded each side of the street and left it. Now the entire length of road is impassable as the street has turned into Pot Hole City, especially in front of Duke Way.
I myself no longer have a lawn, feeding my dog is next to impossible, our cars are being ruined, cyclists can’t ride through the water without being thrown off their bikes, children can’t walk home from the bus stop.
This is ridiculous; something needs to be done immediately. What has our vote down for us??
