Elite start well

Elite FC started brilliantly in the Cayman Islands Football Association Simon Robshaw Caytech Under-17 Girls League by defeating Stingrays 3-1 at the Annex last Wednesday.

Elite went ahead in the 23rd minute with a header from Jessica Ebanks.

This score was short lived as in the 33rd minute Roselyn Seymour leveled the score for Stingrays ending the first half 1-1.

Elite regrouped and came out fighting to get the clincher in the second half. In the 57th minute Amy Mobley did it for her team taking the score to 2-1.

Stingrays made several attempts to change the scores but the defense line of Elite was too sturdy for their opponents making things difficult for them to go forward.
