Youth leagues kick off today

The Cayman Islands Football Association Boys Youth League season kicks off today with three age groups competing for individual age group titles.

They are Under-13 (players born in 1996 and after) Under-15 (players born in 1994 and after) and Under-17 (players born in 1992 and after).

The Queensgate sponsored U-13 games will be played at the Annex between Cayman Athletics and George Town FC, St Ignatius FC meet Seven Miles at the Catholic Play Field while Scholars face off with Future at the Ed Bush Stadium.

tomorrow in the Admiral U-15 games St Ignatius take on George Town at Catholic Play Field, Bodden Town face Future at the Annex and Latinos meet Cayman Athletics at the Ed Bush Stadium.

In the Caytech sponsored U-17 League games to be played on Thursdady, Bodden Town play East End at the Annex, Sunset and Roma meet at the Catholic play field and Elite play Future at the Ed Bush Stadium.

All Ed Bush games are scheduled for 4:30pm while the other games will be played at 4:00pm.

It is mandatory for all clubs affiliated to CIFA to enter at least one team in the youth competitions each season as failure to comply will result in the team or teams’ inability to participate in their respective league competitions.

Matches will be scheduled for weekdays at 4pm and on Saturday mornings.

The venues available for use this season are the Annex field in George Town, the Ed Bush stadium in West Bay, Bodden Town Field next to the Civic Centre and Catholic School Field on Walkers Road
