Cayman National Corporation kicked off the holidays by lighting up a roundabout and then by lighting up the faces of its customers, shareholders and directors with its 6th annual ‘Home for Christmas’ programme.
Governor Stuart Jack, left, along with his wife Mariko and Cayman National Corporation President and CEO Stuart Dack, presided over the lighting of the Christmas decorations at the Elgin Avenue Roundabout, which has been adopted by Cayman National.
Mr. Dack said the roundabout’s design had attracted a lot of positive comments.
‘It’s a very nice roundabout,’ commented Governor Jack.
After the short lighting ceremony, Cayman National put on its annual Christmas programme in the back car park of its Elgin Avenue location.
The Home for Christmas programme told the Christmas story through music and poetry. Annie Ebanks-Halloran read a Christmas prayer and Rico Ebanks sang the National Song.
In addition to remarks made by Mr. Dack and Cayman National Bank President Ormond Williams, the event featured music by the UCCI Cayman National Steel Pan Band; songs sung by the George Hicks School Campus Bank; a musical selection by the CNC Carollers; and a special appearance by Santa Claus.
After the programme, a variety of refreshments was served.
