David Haye has been branded ‘disgusting’ by WBA world heavyweight champ Nikolay Valuev.
The Hayemaker caused a storm when he held aloft a mocked-up snap showing Wladimir Klitschko decapitated.
And 7ft, 23st Russian Valuev joined in the row after he held on to his crown with a narrow points win over Evander Holyfield in Zurich at the weekend.
The Beast from the East said: ‘That is disgusting behaviour and there is no place in the sport of boxing for this.
‘People who do this really hurt boxing’s reputation. One should act like a professional.’
Wladimir’s brother Vitali had a wrestling match with Haye at a restaurant when he was shown the picture – but Haye insists it all ended amicably and has not damaged contract negotiations for their planned WBC title fight in June.
Haye said: ‘We shook hands at the end. There’s no problem between us.
‘I don’t envisage any problems with the contracts for our fight being signed – Vitali seems like a man of his word.’
