Airport charge is ridiculous

We are frequent visitors to Grand Cayman and one of the appealing features of arriving in Cayman is the wonderful little airport and terminal versus a large commercial facility as found elsewhere in the Caribbean.

As the press release correctly states, Cayman is one of the last to introduce a PFC charge.

It should also state that it is thee to four times the amount of competing islands!

For comparison, San Juan, St Thomas and St Croix are all $3 and the maximum at any US airport is $4.50.

This is an outrageous amount being passed onto visitors and totally unnecessary. It only lessens Cayman’s attractiveness by using the funds to destroy a quaint little airport and increasing the cost to visit.
