I am writing to complain about the plans to build a road through the Salina Reserve and the Mastic Trail.
I understand it is not all bad because it would help make less traffic but at the same time it would leave lots of lizards and tons of different animals destitute so they will die. It will kill the wildlife and then there won’t be as many places for the tourists to see all the things that are endemic to Cayman.
It is really very beautiful on the Mastic Trail and it is the only forest we have on the island. There are also a lot of historic things in the Mastic Trail. The road will also cause endangered species to die out. If you build a road it could make a big difference in our future.
