I am writing to strongly disagree that the Roads Authority should build a road through the Salina Reserve and the Mastic Trail. There will be lots of wildlife destroyed. I was there for a field trip and I learned a lot about plants and animals that are important to the Cayman Islands.
I do understand that it will stop traffic jams and it will let people get to places faster and it will also stop accidents.
However, I feel strongly that the Road Authority shouldn’t cut down the Salina Reserve and the Mastic Trail because it might kill lots of green and Blue Iguanas and it will destroy the food chain and lots of animals will dies of starvation or be killed.
