I am writing to protest against the idea to build a road through the Mastic Trail and the Salina Reserve.
I can understand why Government would want to. It would mean less traffic, no more accidents and you can get where you want to go faster, but are we sure we want to kill nature?
It will be a bad idea to kill hundreds of animals as it will destroy the food chain. In science we have learned that if a small part of a food chain goes, it all goes. Could you build the road around the Mastic Trail and the Salina Reserve, thereby saving the animals? Are you going to let lots of animals die just for a new road?
Please reconsider your decision.
