Invest in people

I would like to know how much of the $2 million education budget actually makes it into the hands of needy parents?

We have been told that they are taking no new applications for assistance.

Where is the money going?

Since when are the children of this island and their needs left to private business?

Maybe since the government washed its hands of them back in the early 90s?

If new schools need to be built due to overcrowding just think about the fact that most of the children pass through the daycare and preschool system first and you will see that there is not enough room in the private sector for them either.

When will our children’s welfare and education be more important than a cruise ship port in Cayman?

I believe investing in our own people will bring about a greater return on our money (if you want to consider them a private business).
