Atlantic Star Ltd. is now a Partner in Prevention with the Cayman Islands Cancer Society.
As a Sapphire Level sponsor, Atlantic Star has become the first corporate supporter of CICS in the newly launched initiative.
‘Atlantic Star Limited, its beneficial owner Mr. Fahad Al Rashid and all ASL staff are honoured to be associated with the Cayman Islands Cancer Society,’ said Gary Lindsay, operations manager for Atlantic Star.
‘We support the institution’s worthwhile programmes for medical assistance to cancer victims, promotion of cancer awareness and investment of necessary equipment for cancer prevention and treatment.’
The donation was accepted by Scott Elliott, Chairman of the Cancer Society, who thanked the company and presented Mr. Lindsay with a package outlining the Partners in Prevention programme and the benefits of sponsorship.
CICS’s Partners in Prevention program has three levels of sponsorship: Emerald, Sapphire and Amethyst.
Depending on the level of sponsorship, benefits include the placement of logos on materials, the opportunity to display banners at CICS events, newsletters, complimentary tickets for select functions, corporate membership, and the provision of educational sessions to the team members of the sponsoring company.
