Bashment Granny 2 flies into Cayman

Bashment Granny 2 comes to Cayman in the first week of April.

Keith ‘Shebada’ Ramsay is one of the biggest personalities to have hit the Jamaican stage in this century. After entering the Jamaica theatre scene in 2006, Shebada has delivered in all of his five plays.

Bashment Granny with Keith Ramsay and Maxwell Grant conquered all performance records in Jamaica in 2006 and a sequel was inevitable.

Bashment Granny 2 (The Saga Continues) is the sequel and so far it has shattered all records made by Bashment Granny and shows no sign of abatement.

On 4 and 5 April, Bashment Granny 2 will be showing at the Lions Centre and Shebada and Maxwell ‘Mama man’ Grant will take to the stage to give Caymanians a great show.

With an extensive overseas schedule, the first stop outside of Jamaica for the Bashment cast will be Grand Cayman.

One of the most important features of Bashment Granny 2 is the devastating form of Keith Ramsay in his role of Shebada. Not only is he a lot more entertaining, he is more integral to the story. Maxwell Grant returns in his signature role as Mr. Bashment and it is going to surprise everyone with the personalities that he has taken on.

Then, there is Barbalita played by Abigail Grant, who is always pouring a strong drink to the audience. Bashment Granny 2 is a no nonsense comedy designed to entertain.

Over the years Stages Productions and its team of actors have had an excellent relationship with the patrons in Cayman and it was the wish of the actors to perform on Grand Cayman on their first outing.

Bashment Granny 2’s cast also includes Volier Johnson, Deon Silvera and Junior Williams. The play is written by Garfield Reid and directed by Michael Nicholson.
