Kerri Kanunga, a member of the Junior Achievement Board, received a cheque presented by Eileen Keens, representing the Caribbean Publishing Company.
The Caribbean Publishing Company has been a consistent supporter of the Junior Achievement Board over the years and their contribution is particularly welcomed this year in the light of the economic downturn which has been affecting many businesses and their ability to support local causes. Caribbean Publishing Company is a Gold Sponsor.
The Board of Directors extended their appreciation to the publishing company for its continuing support which enables Junior Acheivement to continue to offer the Company Programme. Caribbean Publishing Company also supports the programme by sponsoring an individual Junior Achievement company. This involves them in supplying a team of advisors to oversee the company and also a location for the company meetings.
The programme provides basic Economic, Marketing, Human Resources and Sales skills through organising and operating an actual business enterprise. It has been operating since 1991 in the Cayman Islands.
Individuals or organisations interested in becoming involved with or sponsoring the efforts of the Junior Achievement Programme may contact Junior Achievement Executive Administration at by phone 949-4306 or email [email protected]
