Facelift for Car City

Fosters Group has begun a major renovation of its Car City Retail Centre on Dorcy Drive.

Citing a need to stimulate the economy and recognising that in many ways this is a good time to build, John-Michael Foster said he was excited about the changes to come.

‘We have been planning this upgrade for some time and are eager to showcase our great product lines in this new facility’ he said.

‘Each of our major brands, Honda, Mitsubishi, Chrysler and Daihatsu, will be featured in its own outdoor pavilion which will be lit at night for public browsing,’ he added.

Shayne Howe of the project’s builders, The Phoenix Group, said: ‘As this our 25th year of doing business with the Foster family, we are delighted to be participating in this effort to further enhance the Car City image.

‘This facility will be very impressive and will provide customers with an enhanced sales experience when completed’.

More inventory will be displayed at the centre, as its rust check operation has been relocated between Ropers and Car City in the Industrial Way loop to provide for the expansion.

‘Having the additional room for quality displays, along with comfortable offices and meeting spaces will bring the buying experience up the same high level as the service you have come to expect from Car City’s Service and Auto body shops’ said Mr. Foster.

Lee Arie, sales manager for Car City, said the company would soon be showcasing the cars, trucks and SUVs in what would be the most modern facilities in Cayman.

‘All this will ensure a first class buying experience for our clients,’ he said.
