A West Bay woman who’s been missing since early Sunday was found safe Tuesday morning.
Jana Ebanks, 26, left home around 3.30pm Saturday, telling her sister she was going to Savannah to meet someone. Jana contacted her again about 90 minutes later, promising to return home shortly – but she did not.
Her father, Carlyle Ebanks said the last time anyone heard from Jana was on a cell phone call from a phone number that didn’t belong to her. Jana’s sister Marsha told the Caymanian Compass that the call didn’t last long and Jana didn’t give any clues as to her whereabouts.
‘She said ‘dad, I’m okay’ and then hung up,’ Marsha said. That’s was about 11pm Sunday night.
Mr. Ebanks called later in the morning to inform reporters that he daughter had been located and was alive.
