Attorneys Robert Jones and Alex
Horsbrugh-Porter have been made partners at local law firm Ritch & Conolly.
Mr. Jones, who was first admitted
in 1990 in England and Wales as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court, joined the
firm in 1998 and has developed a substantial employment law practice, as well
as a specialisation in immigration and planning appeals.
His previous experience in
commercial property litigation also enables him to advise the firm’s banking
and development clients on a broad range of secured lending and related property
Mr. Horsbrugh-Porter qualified in
the United Kingdom in 1998 and joined the firm in 2004 in its litigation
department. As one of a small number of
practitioners holding the coveted qualification of Licensed Insolvency Practitioner,
he is part of the firm’s well respected and rapidly expanding insolvency
Currently advising the liquidators
of several large hedge funds and he also acts for creditors and directors, Mr. Horsbrugh-Porter
has also advised in asset tracing claims involving Norwich Pharmaceutical
applications and Mareva Injunctions.
