Accolades for KPMG

KPMG has received recognition for
its advisory services at the Financial Times and Mergermarket European M&A
Awards.

KPMG’s Transactions and
Restructuring
practice received the “Accountancy Firm of the Year”
award at the event. The practice provides services to clients in the areas of corporate
finance advising on mergers and acquisitions, disposals, financing and
valuations, transaction services related to commercial and financial due diligence
and restructuring.

This is the second year in a row KPMG
has won this award.

The award is evaluated by a panel
of independent judges and awarded to the firm with empirical merger and
acquisition transaction data while providing independent expert opinion.

At the award ceremony, the Transaction
and Restructuring team was recognized for consistently topping the advisor
league tables in both the volume and value of deals where they advise.

 “This award specifically recognises our
market-leading position and sector approach, and is therefore particularly
pleasing, as it reflects our joint efforts across many practices,” said, Global
Head of T&R Simon Collins.

Head of Corporate Finance for KPMG
in the Cayman Islands Tully Cornick said KPMG continues to expand its Corporate
Finance advisory services in the Cayman Islands and across the globe with the
aim of serving the company’s clients’ needs regardless of where they are
located.

“We appreciate the industry’s recognition of
our continued commitment to quality service and that during a time of significant
market turmoil we continue to develop our business,” said Head of Transactions
and Restructuring in the Cayman Islands Kris Beighton.
