Crighton close down Butterfield

The local little league continues to be in full
swing at the Field of Dreams in George

Zion Coe threw four strikeouts over 1 2/3 innings while
Mario Ebanks and Albertini Holness each went 2-for-2 with four RBIs each to
lead Crighton Properties over Butterfield 10-2 in Single-A action.

Shortstop Jathan Bodden had two doubles, a triple
and 6 RBIs as Island Paving held off a furious comeback to defeat Remax 11-10
in its Single-A game.

Ethan Hydes, Kevin Woods and Oladapo Bailey combined
to limit Bodden Beverages to one run over four innings pitched and Digicel prevailed
14-1 in its Single-A game.

First Caribbean International Bank had a great
all-around effort on display in its T-Ball game against KPMG last Saturday.
Kace Archuleta and Justin Hastings showed some good fielding and throwing for
FCIB, as did pitcher Darius Williams and first baseman Austin Ziemniak.

Short on players but long on heart, Dart’s T-Ballers
hit the ball tremendously well against Yellow Pages last Saturday. Dijon
Francis and Angelo Forbes hit home runs for Dart with Dijon’s being a monstrous grand-slam in the
first inning.

CIBC showed great improvement in its T-Ball game
against Appleby last Saturday as evidenced by outstanding fielding by Romeo and
Charlie Thomas and Manuel Regidor. Tommy McGregor, Rick Zuniga and Jagger
Linford all added big hits as well.

Leymar McLean hit a home run in the bottom of the
first inning and performed well in the infield for KM Ltd. in its T-Ball game
against Maples last Saturday. Charlotte Dowell also had a greatly improved
batting effort for KM Ltd. William Dyer, Peyton and Carter Duchene, Leon
Holness, Neil McComb, Diquon Messam and Daniel Rivers all added impressive batting
and fielding performances for KM Ltd.

The stand-outs for Maples were Nicholas Franklin,
Le’Andre Mackay and Aidan Montana.
