Former political candidate and talk
radio host Sandra Catron was charged Thursday with one count of theft in
relation to a dog police said she took from a neighbours’ home in January.
Ms Catron said animal control
officials came to her Bodden
Town area home Thursday
morning to take the animal away. She said she was scheduled to appear in court
next Tuesday, 23 March to face the charge.
“I’ll fight this all the way,” she
said. “I’ll protest in the streets if I have to.”
Ms Catron said she took the dog
into her home in late December or early January after seeing repeated signs of
neglect with the animal.
She said she was arrested in
mid-January, but police officials said she was not formally charged in the case
