Whittaker brings fresh approach to PR

Samantha
Whittaker has specifically tailored Fresh Image Public Relations to the Cayman
Islands.

The
aim of Fresh Image is to give clients public relations support through local
press releases, material development and media relations so that they can build
and/or maintain a strong public presence.

“I
have always enjoyed helping companies increase their profile while protecting
and enhancing their reputation,” said Ms. Whittaker. “I’ve wanted to start
my own agency for some time and with the slowdown in the economy, combined with
firsthand knowledge of how stretched corporate marketing and PR department’s
resources are; the timing couldn’t be better to launch a service that will
provide organisations with low cost support.”

Samantha
is a graduate of the Communications school at North Carolina State University
and has represented several government agencies, private corporations and
non-profit groups. She has provided marketing, advertising support, project
management and media outreach services to several companies in the Cayman Islands,
North Carolina and in South Florida. Clients have included corporations,
associations, professionals, celebrities and artists.

Ms
Whittaker also possesses a wealth of experience and connections through her
charitable work with major public events such as the Miss Cayman Islands Competition
and the Cayman Islands Jazz Festival. More recently, she spearheaded a large
charity fundraiser for Haiti Earthquake Relief in South Florida for one of her
clients. The event was filmed and will be featured on the VH1 reality show
“Basketball Wives” airing this April.
