Art, food and wine tasting

Fine wine and fine art were in plentiful supply
recently, whenTortuga
Liquors’ Art, Food & Wine Tasting event showcased the work of artist Mikael
Seffer, Thursday, 29 April.

Bacchus
restaurant furnished the appetisers and the wine selection featured Chateau
Mourgues du Gres Galets from France.

The
event was part of a series of free tastings being held on the last Thursday of
every month at the Tortuga Liquors Governors Square location. The tastings are
designed to showcase the work of local artists, and sample featured wines and
appetisers.

“Each
tasting is a new opportunity to try different wines, enjoy delicious appetisers
from a local restaurant, meet the artist and learn about their work,” said
Jeremy Ebanks, vice president, Tortuga Rum Company.

“We appreciate the great turnout each month
and invite everyone in the community to join in the festivities.”

The
next Tasting event at Tortuga Liquors, Governors Square will be on Thursday, 27 May, at Tortuga Liquors, Governors
Square, 5 pm – 7 pm. Chris Christian will be the featured artist of the evening
with featured wines from Peter Lehmann of the Barossa, Australia and appetisers
