British Airways has confirmed its
flight schedule for all dates between 24 and 29 May.
The BA0252 service on Tuesday 25
May between Grand Cayman and Nassau is cancelled, but the 2140 Nassau to London
Heathrow flight is operating.
The flight scheduled for Wednesday,
26 May between Grand Cayman and London Heathrow is cancelled.
However, the scheduled 18.10
departure from Grand Cayman to London Heathrow on Friday 28 May is operating as
On Saturday, 29 May the flight
between Grand Cayman and Nassau is operating but the link between Nassau and
London Heathrow is cancelled.
Services incoming to Grand Cayman
are also significantly affected.
All flights BA0253 between London
Heathrow and Grand Cayman are cancelled on Tuesday, 25 May, Wednesday, 26 May
and Friday, 28 May.
The next operating flight between
London Heathrow and Grand Cayman is scheduled for Saturday, 29 May.
The strike action by the Unite
union is going ahead as previously planned after a high court injunction was
lifted. BA had originally said that there were technical irregularities in the
way that Unite had told its members of the outcome of the vote.
The underlying dispute is over pay
and staffing levels.
BA said it could still appeal the
verdict of the high court.
