Young people have a new resource
they can turn to for help finding ways they can get involved in the community.
The Youth Services Unit’s 2010
Cayman Islands Youth Service Providers Directory lists youth programmes and
summer activities, and highlights the many youth groups young people can belong
“Research shows that young people
who are involved and engaged are less likely to become addicted to bad habits
like smoking or drinking,” said Head of YSU Katherine Whittaker.”
“As such, we hope that having the
information about different youth groups will motivate young people to join one

to all public and private schools, school parent teacher associations,
libraries, and other businesses.
