St. Matthews vets graduate

Over 200 family members, friends,
faculty, students, administration and distinguished guests attended the
graduation ceremony for St. Matthews.

Dr. Alan Kelly, University of
Pennsylvania’s Dean Emeritus, School of Veterinary Medicine presented an
emotive commencement address. Chancellor John Marvin presented the graduates of
the School of Veterinary Medicine with their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
(D.V.M) degrees, and graduates were then hooded by Assistant Professor of Veterinary
Medicine and Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Samantha Shields.

Dr. Lori Gaskins, Assistant
Professor of Animal Behaviour administered the Veterinarian’s Oath, and was
followed by Dr. Sonia Borrell, Class of 2009, who addressed her fellow alumni
on behalf of the St. Matthew’s University’s Alumni Association.
