Rock the boat

Zac
Brown, Kid Rock, Shinedown and 3 Doors Down have more in common than just being
multi-million selling recording artists. In each case, they’ve been curators of
special, themed floating festivals that set off from Tampa to visit Cayman.

The
latest shindig takes place aboard the Carnival Inspiration between 2 and 6
September, where passengers will be in the company of Zac Brown and his band.

The
four days of the cruise will be packed with activities for passengers, if
previous blends of the musical and the nautical are anything to go by. At the
end of April, 2010, Kid Rock brought a bunch of bands and DJs for his Chillin’
The Most cruise. Steve Kamb of Sixthman Events said that the Pimps & Ho’s
Night, which was also the main headlining show of Kid Rock, could be the most
memorable night in Sixthman history.

“Imagine
1,000 pimps and ho’s dancing in unison, waving their arms in time, jumping in
sequence, and singing every word to every song, for two hours straight. Like a
giant choreographed dance scene from a Hollywood movie, everybody knew exactly
what to do,” he beamed.
