Ace Paints brush past Lone Star

In Domino’s Pizza Lady’s division
play Lisa Malice threw five touchdown passes in leading the Ace Paints and
Décor Lady Panthers to a resounding 36-7 win over Lone Star Jager Monsters.
Malice was 13 of 21 passing with an interception. Camille Solomon and Alicia
Dixon both had two touchdown catches while Stephanie Watler had one. Delicia
Ebanks had five tackles for her defence while Camille Solomon had four.

For Lone Star it was a frustrating
afternoon as the Lady Panthers jumped out to an early lead and the Jager
Monsters could not come back. Ali Amos had a rough day going 9 of 21 passing
with a lone touchdown pass to Michelle McTaggart accounting for the scoring.
Keisha Solomon led the defence with three tackles while Kayleigh Jennings had
two tackles and an interception for the 3 and 4 Jager Monsters who take on the
improving Appleby squad next. Ace who are 3 and 4 as well get Walkers next.

Walkers Wonders missing their
leader Jordana Clark had to struggle to get by Appleby 14-7. Cassandra Bodden
stepped in at QB for Walkers and was a respectable 15 of 23 passing with two
touchdown passes and two interceptions. Isatou Sey and Sophy Broad each had a
touchdown catch for the undefeated Walkers team while Nicole Ramroop had two
interceptions to lead the defence.

For Appleby Antoinette Thompson led
the way with going 7 of 14 passing with a touchdown and three interceptions.
Appleby were in the game all the way to the end but time ran out on their game
tying drive. Zoenief Walker had six receptions including the touchdown score
but it was the Appleby defence who were the stars as they shut down Walkers
potent offense. Tricia Bell had eight tackles for the defence while Shawanna
Hera had seven. Appleby take on Lone Star next while Appleby get Ace Paints and

Hammerheads continue to assault the
offensive record book as they put 40 points on the board in pasting Andro 40-6.
The Lady Pirates were led by quarterback Bobeth O’Garro who threw four
touchdown passes while going 13 of 20 passing. Alexandra Terry had two
touchdown catches while Kathy Miller and Courtisha Ebanks each had one. Scimone
Campbell rushed for the final touchdown. Hong Nguyen had four sacks to lead the
defence while Catherine Ebanks chipped in with five tackles. Campbell also had
an interception.

Andro played well enough but could
not stop the potent Hammerheads offense. Andro were led by Heather Roffey who
rushed for the lone score and also helped out on defence with a tackle and an
interception. Phillippa Knights had three tackles for her defence. Andro drop
to 3 and 4 and play Zulu’s next while Hammerheads get Chiro Spa.

Chiro Spa edged Zulu’s in the final
game of the day 25-19. Jessica Pawlik completed 18 of 30 pass attempts with
four touchdown passes in leading Chiro to the win. Shamar Ennis had three of
the touchdown receptions while Emily Vaka’uta had the other. Vaka’uta had ten
receptions on the day. For the defence Lisa Jueneza had five tackles while
Maggie Ebanks had three tackles and an interception.

For Zulu’s they continue to get
close. Dionne Whittaker led the way with three touchdown passes while going 12
of 26 passing. She also had an interception. Margo Whittaker and Jahzenia
Thomas each had touchdown catches while Lillia Connolly led the Zulu’s defence
