Cayman National boosts ICCI computer labs

Students at the International
College of the Cayman Islands will be sitting pretty this fall thanks to Cayman
National, which donated $3,200 to the college to purchase chairs for its
computer lab.

The International College offers
four computer classes each term with courses in spreadsheet, database and word
processing applications.

“We are committed to youth
development through the provision of opportunities, services and equipment,”
said Cayman National Bank President Ormond Williams.

Cayman National has been a
long-time supporter of the International College with numerous staff pursuing
associate, bachelor and master degrees in the evening, and their staff members
receive full funding from the bank to pursue their respective programmes.

“I want to thank Cayman National
for its generous donation,” said the International College’s President John

“Since this is a non-profit
institution, sponsorships like these allow the college to provide a quality
education at an affordable cost, particularly as the costs for going to school
abroad have escalated.”
