Touch Da Road

BARolo brings sexy back with good tunes and great wine

If you are planning, as we say in
Cayman, to Touch the Road this weekend, amid the ever-evolving night life here,
and you’re looking for something new, trendy and yet low key enough to bring
sexy back after a long week at work, perhaps you should consider visiting the
BARolo Lounge at Edoardo’s Restaurant.

Discreetly tucked away in Coconut
Plaza, off the hip strip which is the West Bay Road, BARolo Lounge is our
recommendation this Friday and Saturday night to quench your thirst for a
quality night out on the rock.

The lounge is Cayman’s newest
player in the rapidly developing trendy lounge scene. Swing by and sample a
refreshing blend sure to satisfy both your taste buds and your ears in the
ultra-luxurious, candlelit, earth-toned lounge inspired by the vineyards of
Italy.

After dinner at Eduardo’s, patrons
have the option of stepping into the connecting BARolo lounge area, where all
of the positive vibes, sights and sounds of a beautiful mix of young
professionals, the who’s who of Cayman and of course, gorgeous women, blend
effortlessly.

All have come dressed to impress
wearing the hottest fashions, which means for the ladies, sporting a pair of
this season’s skyscraper heels. A quick look around the lounge confirms that
everyone is en pointe and camera-ready for special guest David Goddard
Photography who may be there any given weekend, as he was last week, to create
a buzz and kick it up a notch with his renowned digital skills. And because you
just never know who will be there, revellers are definitely encouraged to be on
the top of their game.

BARolo Lounge is just the right
size, and the atmosphere inspires you to feel free and shake a leg to a
refreshing melange of music, including a little acid jazz, RnB and easy
listening, which help you get comfortable – fast.

As the night progresses you’ll have
ample opportunities to mingle and sample some delicious cocktails, created by
the lounge’s resident mixologists. The service is impeccable and the lounge
offers appropriately priced drinks from a variety of top shelf, select beverage
options.

The people are a cultural blend,
and so is the staff, who hail from places as diverse as Eastern Europe to
Western Canada. As always, owners Raffaele and Denis add that personal touch
they are known for.

The beats per minute will
inevitably increase, so feel free to shake a leg and get your dance on should
you and your friends so desire. DJ RKM provides classic tunes from Europe,
mashups, dance remixes, funky house and hip-hop, its all there.

If your preference is for enjoying
the balmy breeze and comfortable outdoor ambience, step out into BARolo’s new
outdoor patio. The open space has you shifting down a gear, yet keeps you right
among the action on the Seven Mile Beach strip and is ideal for patrons to have
a chat and catch up with what’s happening on the Marl Road.

Just a couple minutes walk either
from the Caribbean Club or the Ritz–Carlton, BARolo Lounge, in true Caymanian
fashion, greets newcomers with a diverse group of locals and visiting guests,
collectively celebrating life’s blessings — one of the many aspects that makes
the Cayman Islands lifestyle and culture so unique. It’s just island-style –
345 style.

And remember, if you’re going to
touch da road this weekend, don’t forget about the lives you touch: drink
responsibly and don’t ever forget to keep it tropical!
