Redesign boosts Caterpillar dealer

As design/build continues its
steady growth in the Cayman market, another newly renovated property is
showcased at North Sound Road and Red Gate. Clive and Andrew Bodden’s Atlantic
Supply was the result of an intensive effort by the owners, Exeter Development,
Icon’s Tami Scott and the builders at The Phoenix Group to turn the site into a
significantly expanded Caterpillar dealership.

“We needed to keep the original
building and keep Atlantic Supply operational while we carried off a complete
transformation – it took a real team effort” said Neil Rooney, project coordinator.

“Clive and Andrew are great clients
to work with” said Ms Scott, the architect on the project “Functionality and
maximizing the square footage was the top priority…it would have been easier to
simply move the business to a less constrained site, however Clive did not want
to inconvenience his customers.

“That is just one example of why
they have been a successful business for 30 years,” she added.

Clive Bodden said: “Andrew and I
enjoyed working with Tami and the Phoenix group to maximize our new building.
They helped us get the most from the site and the budget. It was a challenge
operating the business at the same time the building work was going on, but the
Phoenix Group did everything in their power to make sure we were inconvenienced
as little as possible.

“We are looking forward to serving
our customers in our new facility for many years to come. Thanks Icon Exeter
and Phoenix.”

The business should be fully under
way this month.
