Remembrance Day ceremonies will be
held on Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac on Sunday, 14 November.
The ceremony on Grand Cayman to
remember those fallen in war will be held at the Elmslie Memorial Church in
George Town, beginning at 10.45am and includes the laying of wreaths at the
memorial cross and the Seamen’s Memorial. On Cayman Brac, the ceremony will be
held at the Aston Rutty Centre at 1.45pm.
There will be changes to traffic
flow in George Town as a result of Saturday’s rehearsal and the Sunday
ceremony. Harbour Drive (from Fort Street to Shedden Road) will be closed
Saturday from 6-9am. It will also be closed Sunday from 6am to 12.30pm.
