Economy Class passengers on Air Canada flights will be charged $20 extra for a second checked bag.
The new rules came into force for all Caribbean, Costa Rican, Mexican and domestic flights as of Thursday, 11 November. The second checked bag rules do not apply to Prestige, Elite and Super Elite members or Star Alliance Silver and Gold members.
According to the carrier, the second bag policy for flights into and out of the United States, Europe and other international desti-nations will not change.
