The Rolex Kirk Freeport Little
League Golf Tournament was held at the North Sound Golf Club on Friday and lot
of fun was had as well as much raised for the softball kids. No hole-in-one
prize was awarded on the 13th hole but there were plenty of other prizes,
including Kevin Poole and Simon Whicker winning fabulous Rolex watches. Handing
out the prizes were Christopher and Gerald Kirkconnell of Kirk Freeport, Alex
Tabary of Rolex Caribbean and Cayman Little League’s president Jim Parham and
there was great help from Robert Chilman, the golf pro at North Sound. Caybrew
and Mise en Place provided refreshments. The format was a four man scramble,
with a shotgun start. They all had a riotous time in fabulous weather so there
were many smiling faces in the clubhouse after.
